pass, sorry never had a customer ask, could try google it see what that brings up
over time, mybe a couple of years you should eventually build up enough layers so the oil lasts longer, but until then i think you will have to keep oiling
Oiling will soak into the wood and look natural but you could consider sealing them with something else giving the tops more of a shine. I have seen this and it doesn't look as good but it would last longer.
P,
Wooden wortops need to have several coats of oil top and bottom before use. Even then they will require oiling every 4-6 months. there is a newish product calld Osmo on the market which is very good. POLYX is the product. Even this has its disadvantages.

Have primarily used danish oil for wooden work surfaces in kitchens and bathrooms.

Morning,
We have wood work tops which we stained a dark colour and then oiled a few times. They look great once oiled but fade within a few weeks. I take good care of them to ensure they don't get too wet. The oil i use is a sadolin worktop oil. I don't mind oiling it every now and then but seem to be doing it every few weeks. Is there anything else i can use that would keep it's original look for longer?
Thanks P
