Decorating Forum > Laura Ashley Paint
I`ve never used it so couldn`t say, but i can tell you that their paper is rubbish and you pay extra for the name, remember that its highly unlikely they make their own paint, its just made to their recipe by someone else.
As usual i`d say get the colour made up in dulux trade which is the best.
Thanks.
Do you have to pay much extra to get the paint made up? Also can i get this done in one of the diy stores and will they have necessary colours in dulux trade?
yeah you can get the colour mixed, why dont you buy a sample pot from laura ashley, then go to a B&Q or dulux centre and get the colour match, not only will you save money but you will also get a better quailty paint.
Thanks.
My girl insisted i use the Laura Ashley paint so, because i like an easy life, i gave it a go. Must admit i'm really pleased with it. The coverage is good and it went on nicely. I've only done one coat but don't think i will need to give it another coat. But that might be because it is quite a similar colour to the old colour.
I haven't used that many other paints to compare it to but i think i would recommend Laura Ashley if anyone asked.

Does anybody on hear have any experience of Laura Ashley paint?
My girl wants me to decorate the hall and she has found a colour called light truffle from Laura Ashley that she really likes. The paint is quite expensive but i've no idea if it's any good.
Any ideas? Thanks
