The Building Experience > Amir Khan

Any body else think he might get beaten this weekend? I've got a feeling he might get knocked out.

Also i know it's on sky but does anyone know if it is pay per view or normal sky?

Seems a long time since I was on here last so Hello to all.

In truth I cannot see Warren risking wonderboy on Sky which I think is ppv. Yes, prescott has got a decent record and great KO history (17 from 19 bouts) but who has he fought? He's Columbian not Mexican or Puerta Rican where the tough fighters come from.

Then again he is a lightweight and not Khan's previous fodder of overweight and over the hill Super Feathers who have been knocking Khan down so anything could happen.

I do not want to knock a decent fighter but Khan is getting too much like Hamed - talking up fights with Hatton and co. He's no where near and if he does ever fight Hatton we all know that he (Hatton) is already past his best.

He (Khan) gives it the big I am whenever and wherever you hear him. Telling us all how wonderful he is giving £750k of his own money to build a gym. Oh my hero!!

It's PPV i think. Don't think 'll bother getting it, although Amir's fight's are great to watch. I think he'll win, he's just so fast.

I like him herbert. I know he's started gviving it the bigman a little more, but that's all part of boxing. I actually don't think it comes naturally to him. I think he's been instructed to do it.

England fotball team, now them on the other hand, i can see getting beat!

Cheers

Si

Don't get me wrong Si I like the way he boxes. Boxing was a way of life in our family so I know how they operate, mood swings and hype etc but most are humble down to earth.

It seems as though the media do not help - pushing forward an 'Asian proud Brit' in times of uncertainty when probably all he wants to do is box and not enter polictics but he has every opportunity to say no.

Bragging about what he has does him no favours or what he has given to charity - loads of sportsmen give to charity and say nothing...........

Yep I was wrong Warren did take a risk - a big risk and it wasn't just a silly stoppage he was knocked out good and proper.

Unbelievable. Watched it yesterday and still can't get over the knock out. He was totally oblivious to what was going on around him!

watch the video of it on youtube, you can see how bad the punch was in slow mo, i think he was asking to be knocked out, he got way to big for his boots for my liking, im not saying jis not talented but he was asking for it.

I love being right!!!!! Just wish i'd put some money on it! Does everyone think he will go the way of Audley Harrison and fall away or do you think he might get over this and go on to win a world title and be a top fighter?

I considered whether this would happen myself but on reflection Khan is a much better talent than Ordinary and has the experience of Warren by his side - if he stays!

He may well win a world title in 2-3 years time but you can bet your bottom dollar that no risks will be taken over his next 3-5 fights. He'll need a confidence booster and a few fights to get the 'hype police' back behind him to drum up support.
